With your purchase, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions: reserves the right to change the terms, conditions, and notices under which the Services are offered. You are responsible for regularly reviewing these terms and conditions and additional terms posted on the website. 2. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions.

Use of this website confirms your agreement to our Terms and Conditions, which may be subject to change at any time. Our Terms & Conditions shall be governed, and interpreted, in accordance with English Law and English Courts shall have jurisdiction in any disputes. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

3. Order Acceptance and Refusals

We reserve the right to refuse any orders placed with, whether via our website or by other means and for any reason and without prior notice.

4. Delivery of phone cards

You accept that your phone card will be delivered online, with access details forwarded by email to the address specified by you in the ordering process. Delivery of the product(s) is completed when our system sends to you the email(s) containing access information to your phone card.

4.1 We reserve the right to refuse to send the phone card details to any other address or place other than the same email address provided as per the above. We may ask for information that helps us identify yourself as the originator of the order.

5. Means of Payment

5.1 All payments are made through the Protx payment system which accepts most major debit and credit cards, as detailed on the front page of our website and throughout the ordering process.

5.2 You should be careful to input the correct information during the payment process, as incorrect information may cause delays or refusal of your payment.

5.3 Your credit/debit card will be billed as “CallingCardsDirect”.

5.4 All orders are placed through our fraud detection systems. We reserve the right to require additional verification or information before accepting or processing any order.

6. Personal Information.

6.1 You undertake that all information provided is correct, the credit or debit card you are using is your own, and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of any purchases that you make.

6.2 You agree to provide us with any information we require you to confirm your order. This may be by supplying us with a valid land line number and/or other information as required.

6.3 All transactions are carried out via our secure server, which is certified SSL to show that industry standard encryption is used.

6.4 We do not pass on any personal details to any 3rd party except where we suspect a possible fraud or other misuse of a credit or debit card, in which case details will be passed on to the relevant authority(ies) as detailed in 7 below.

7. Fraud Policy

7.1 All attempts at fraud will be reported to the appropriate authorities and/or enforcement agencies.

7.2 The authenticity of unverified first-time transactions will, if required, be checked offline by phone call or other means.

8. Security of Phone Card Details

Your phone card access details should be kept confidential to you at all times. This applies to the access details to the web page containing your phone card(s), and also to the phone card information (PIN number). We shall not be liable for losses incurred by you as a result of you disclosing such information to any third parties, or leaving it in a non-secure environment of any sort.

9. Supplier Terms and Conditions

9.1 The terms and conditions applied to individual products purchased by you are the terms and conditions of the supplier of those products. You are advised to read these, and they are accessible via phoning the Card Customer Services provided with the Card Information and are provided along with your phone card when it is delivered to you.

9.2 We are resellers of phone cards produced by telecommunication companies. All problems with a phone card must be dealt with by contacting the Customer Service department of the producer as specified on each phone card. Customer service details are provided along with your phone card when it is delivered to you and are also available in the ‘Contact’ section of this website.

10. Refunds

10.1 We will make refunds only where a product does not work correctly and the producer / original provider of that product is unable to correct the fault.

10.2 Refunds can only be made where phone cards have not been used and are clearly faulty. Faults in network connections should be reported to our customer services department at info[at]

10.3 Unless otherwise stated, phone cards expire 60, 90 or 180 days (for £5, £10 and £20 respectively) from date of first use and this will be specified in the usage terms available for each product in the Product List of this website.

10.4 No refunds or replacement phone cards will be provided for lost, stolen or expired phone cards, or for unauthorized use.

10.5 In the event a refund is to be made, it shall be limited to the purchase cost of the phone card. We make no warranty of products supplied with respect to incidental, consequential, or other damages.

11. Access Numbers

Access numbers are provided with each phone card. It is the responsibility of the caller to establish there is a cost and if so what this might be. If there is any doubt, then you should contact the customer service number for that phone card which is also clearly provided along with your phone card PIN and other details.

12. Suppliers’ Product Information

12.1 We use our best endeavours to ensure the information available on our website is accurate at all times. We cannot however guarantee that all information provided by our suppliers is completely accurate or up-to-date, even though we monitor this information on an ongoing basis, and update it accordingly. We cannot be held responsible for any losses or damage caused by errors of service providers.

12.2 Rates may be rounded to the nearest minute or cost. Call rates may vary depending on the call recipient’s phone providers network connection rates. Our suppliers reserve the right to change rates without notice. We will use our best endeavours to update rate information. We monitor this regularly and our suppliers provide new rates as soon as they are published. We cannot however, be held responsible for losses or other types of damages deemed consequential to such changes. For the most up-to-date rates, please contact the Card Customer Services number as identified in the Card Information section of the relevant phonecard page.

13. Issue of PIN

After the issue of a PIN, if we discover that the personal information supplied by you including telephone number, email address, credit card information and/or address is not valid and/or may indicate a possibility of fraud, we reserve the right to instruct deactivation of your service without notice. In the event of a mistake being made in performing this action, the limit of our liability shall be to reimburse any service time lost. Neither CallingCardsDirect nor any Directors, Employees or Representatives will be liable for any other damages or losses of any kind arising out of or in connection with the deactivation.

14. Limitation of Liability shall not be liable under any circumstances for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages beyond the contemplation of parties, including but not limited to loss of profits or income, arising directly or indirectly from any action or failure resulting from using the prepaid phone cards bought from and shall not be held liable for any surcharges which may be charged by hostels, hotels, or any accommodation providers for use of their phone services. Calls from mobile phones may be subject to a charge from your mobile carrier. Furthermore, shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, resulting from the use or the inability to use the Service or for cost of procurement of substitute goods and services or resulting from any goods or services purchase or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through the Service or resulting from unauthorised access to or alteration of Customer’s transmissions or data, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, use, data or other intangible, even if has been advised of the possibility of such damages. The above statement does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

15. Indemnification

Within the contemplation of the parties at the time that the contract was entered into the Customer agrees to indemnify and hold , its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of the Customer’s use of the Service, the violation of this agreement by the Customer, or the infringement by the Customer, or other user of the Service using the Customer’s computer, of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity.

16. Non Commercial use of Service

The Customer’s right to use the Service is personal to the Customer. The Customer may only be an individual. The Customer may not be a organisation or other business entity. The Customer agrees not to resell or make any commercial use of the Service, without the express consent of
