Yes, some of the major UK telecom providers such as BT, SKY, Virgin Media and others include calls to 0870 minutes in some of their call plans at certain times of day. See our free international calls page for details

First of all, check that your call plan comes with inclusive 0870 minutes.

N.B. We recommend that you also check what times of day you are able to call 0870 numbers from your inclusive minutes. For example, some call plans have inclusive minutes to 0870 numbers all day. Others have inclusive minutes to 0870 numbers on Evenings and Weekends. Still others have inclusive minutes to 0870 numbers on Weekends only.

Once you have confirmed that you do have inclusive minutes to 0870 numbers and what time of day this applies just do the following:

Step 1: Dial 0870 218 0629

Step 2: Enter your full destination number followed by #

Calls to 0870 numbers cost 13p plus providers access charge or can be made from your inclusive 0870 minutes.

N.B. – Most landline providers charge for inclusive calls which are longer than 60 minutes, that’s for any numbers not just the 0870 numbers. If you are making a long call please hang up after 59 minutes and re-dial. Do not exceed 1000 minutes per month or 100 calls per month as your provider may charge you if you exceed those limits. We cannot accept liability for any charge incurred while using this service. This service is provided in good faith, however if the operators exclude or start charging these numbers then this service will be terminated without notice.

Mobile Topups FAQs

Simply text the desired topup keyword on our shortcode for a topup. The text message will be charged to you by your mobile provider and you will receive a confirmation message along with the local and free phone international access numbers.

The dial any the access number 0344 545 0030 included in the confirmation text message, listen to the message, enter the full international number – do not press send / call again. You will then be connected.

Generally a confirmation message is sent instantaneously, however very occasionally for example at peak times the mobile networks maybe congested which means that the confirmation message maybe delayed. Do not resend the message as you will be charged twice.

There is no administration or subscription fees. There is however a 0800 surcharge of 7p per minute from any mobile or landline and a 79p per minute surcharge from a payphone. The connection fee is equal to double rate per minute, with a maximum fee of 30p/call.

Yes, your calling credit will expire 90 days after the last top-up was made.
